Tweyambe School in Bukoba/Tanzania

Tweyambe is a private secondary and high school in the Northwest of Tanzania close to Bukoba. In Spring 2023 the team of VoltaViewAfrica installed a VoltaViewAfrica Powerhouse serving clean energy and clean water primary for the students of the school but also for neighboring private households. At the same time the powerhouse is used for educating the students in working with solar technology, lithium-ion batteries and production of clean water. This project was supported by the NextEnergy Foundation.
