In December 2024, the VoltaViewAfrica team in Sintet, Gambia, put the first solar-powered cold store into operation with the support of the Annegret and Dr Karl-Heinrich Hasenritter Foundation. It supports the “Sintet Women Garden”, where women grow onions.
